Justin Robards has been a percussionist for over 20 years. He has performed with the Okeechobee High School concert and marching bands; the Indian River Community College Wind, Symphonic, and Percussion Ensembles; the Tampa Bay Thunder Drum and Bugle Corps; the Kiwanis Kavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps; and he has performed in front of millions at the Super Bowl XLI pregame in Miami, FL.
He received his Associate of Arts Degree from Indian River State College in 2007 and will be receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at the University of Central Florida in the near future.
He has taught many top programs in the state of Florida including Jupiter, Oviedo, Winter Park, and Jensen Beach high schools. He has also taught numerous drum corps and winter drum lines including the Kiwanis Kavaliers, Magic, Teal Sound, and Jersey Surf drum and bugle corps, as well as Infinity, Riptide, Aquarius, and STRYKE percussion ensembles. He has helped STRYKE Percussion World to 4 world class finals appearances, helped win Percussion Independent A Gold with STRYKE 2 in 2016, and helped win an Independent World Silver medal with STRYKE Wynds in 2017.
Justin’s teaching, arranging, and sound design has helped win multiple FMBC Championships while working with Winter Park (2009), Jupiter (2014, 2015, 2016), and Park Vista High Schools. He is currently working on his second year at Seminole Ridge High School.
In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his girlfriend, Jane.
