Dan Salmasian is a woodwind specialist who performs throughout South Florida. Mr. Salmasian performs professionally on the Flutes, Clarinets, and Saxophones. Degrees include BFA and MAT in Music Education from Florida Atlantic University.  Mr. Salmasian taught at FAU for 22 years specializing in Music History and Ensembles.  Mr. Salmasian also was an adjunct Professor at Broward Community College, Barry University, and Palm Beach Community College at various times.

Mr. Salmasian’s professional performing credits include many Broadway National Tours, Symphony and Pops Orchestras, Opera Orchestras, Pit Musician for many Regional Theaters, backup musician for National Acts which include The Temptations, The Spinners, Linda Eder, and Manhattan Transfer. Mr. Salmasian also toured with Stan Kenton for two years and recorded two albums with that prestigious artist.

Mr. Salmasian along with his performing activities is a local musical contractor in the South Florida area.  This includes providing musicians for musical theater productions, recordings, and orchestras.

Mr. Salmasian is a very busy clinician throughout the United States. His skills are in constant demand with many local schools in the South Florida area.  Adding to this is a very busy private teaching studio.
